It is a VR device for self-treatment.

심리적이거나 외부적인 요인 때문에 병원에 가기 꺼리는 PTSD 환자를 위한 자가 치료용 VR 디바이스입니다.

Problem

Most people with mental illness are reluctant to go to the hospital.
The patient becomes more anxious in that he or she goes to the psychiatrist, meets a counselor, receives psychological treatment, leaves medical records, or is conscious of other people's attention.

However, in the case of PTSD patient treatment, stabilization techniques are essential during treatment due to extreme fear and tension, so patient must see a doctor unconditionally.

대다수의 정신적 질환을 앓고 있는 사람들은 병원에 가기를 꺼립니다.
정신과에 가서 상담사를 만나고 치료를 받아 진료 기록이 남거나 다른 사람의 시선을 의식한다는 점에서 환자는 더 불안해집니다.

하지만 PTSD 환자 치료의 경우 극도의 공포감과 긴장 상태에 놓여 치료 중 안정화 기법이 필수적이기 때문에

혼자 치료할 수 없고, 병원에 무조건 진료를 가야 합니다.

Project goal

VR and devices act as psychological counselors and are known to the public.
Because of fear of it, we tried to resolve patients' rejection of treatment.
Also, because it is a product for treatment purposes, it is not like gaming, but it is soft, clean, and light.

VR 및 디바이스가 심리 상담자의 역할을 해 주변의 시선과 외부로 알려지는 것에
대한 두려움 때문에 환자들의 치료에 대한 거부감을 해결하고자 했습니다.
또한 치료가 목적인 제품이기 때문에 게이밍 같지 않고 부드럽고 깨끗하며 가벼운 느낌을 주고자 했습니다.

VR headset

REMEDY is equipped with EEG sensors in the temporal and frontal lobes.
It measures the stress index that occurs when a patient is exposed to fear and tension while using VR content.
It automatically executes stabilization technique content to alleviate the patient's anxiety.

REMEDY에는 측두엽과 전두엽에 뇌파 센서가 탑재되어 있습니다.
환자가 VR 콘텐츠를 사용하며 공포감, 긴장감에 노출되어 있을 때 발생하는 스트레스 지수를 측정하고

자동으로 안정화 기법 콘텐츠를 실행해 환자의 불안한 심리상태를 완화시켜주는 역할을 합니다.

you can breathe deeply and relax your muscles. The induction program is played through the VR headset.

머리를 감싸주는 형태로 디자인해 더욱 안정적으로 사용할 수 있게 했습니다.

You can adjust it to the circumference of your head with a dial mounted behind the band.

밴드 뒤에 장착되어있는 다이얼로 자신의 머리둘레에 맞게 조절할 수 있습니다.

Controller

Due to the nature of the device used for therapeutic purposes, there are not many dials to use than existing game controllers.
It is equipped with only one touchpad so that it can be used simply and intuitively.
Since it is a product that needs to be able to be held and unfolded, I used a cushion material for holding with my hands.

치료 목적으로 사용하는 디바이스 특성상, 기존 게임용 컨트롤러보다 사용할 다이얼 수가 많지 않아
1가지의 터치패드만 장착해 간단하고 직관적으로 사용할 수 있게 했습니다.
쥐었다 펼 수 있어야 하는 제품이기 때문에 손으로 잡는 부분에 쿠션 소재를 사용했습니다.
